Edunology, operator of MyCISA for Cedars International School of Angola.
What the app is
MyCISA is a private app for parents and staff of Cedars International School of Angola (CISA), operated by Edunology on behalf of the school.
Who can use it
Only families and staff with a school-issued Microsoft account can use MyCISA. There is no public sign-up.
Data we use
- Parent name and school email, from the school-issued Microsoft account.
- The parent's own children's school records, shown only to that parent — names, class, timetable, announcements, warnings, and nurse visits.
- A device token, so the app can receive push notifications.
- A record that the parent accepted the school handbook (version and date).
How we use it
We use this information only for school–parent communication and school administration. We do not sell data, show ads, or use third-party advertising or tracking.
Where it lives
Data is kept on secure cloud infrastructure (Supabase), and Microsoft 365 is used for sign-in. Access is limited to authorized school staff.
Retention
We follow the school's Data Retention Policy: student data and associated emails are deleted 3 years after the student's last registration at CISA.
Children
MyCISA is for parents and staff. It is not directed at children.
